summer with friends

Make room for a summer with friends.

Find camps, organize your weeks, and see what your friends are planning. Those tools are free during the friends beta.

1. Start with your family

Add your household and at least one child. A name and summer age or birth date are enough to begin. School dates, interests, and other profile details are easy to add now or later in Family & settings. Medical and registration details can wait.

2. Find camps and organize your weeks

Explore camps in DC, Chicago, or NYC, save possibilities for a child and week, and keep camps, vacations, and undecided weeks on your family calendar. Some camps have not published their next summer's details yet. Check with the camp before registering.

3. Bring your friends

Create different circles for different friend groups, and choose which of your children belongs in each one. Other families choose their own children. Approved members see those children's visible plans and updates, including plans saved before they joined. You can change the children in a circle and hide particular plans or weeks. Invite a friend by email or link, either to a particular circle or just to try the app.

4. Register with the camp

During this beta, register and pay directly with each camp, then record the booking in your summer plan. A saved possibility is not a reservation, and a friend's plans do not guarantee an available spot.

Want a little more help later?

We're exploring camp-registration help and concierge summer planning. You can express interest in either or both on Plans & pricing, with no payment or commitment. Neither service is available yet. Before offering registration help, we'll explain the scope, price, and permissions and ask for your approval; staff will not sign parent waivers for you.
